Next month IPS Ceramics USA will participate in the exhibit section of POWDERMET 2018, the largest annual North American showcase devoted exclusively to powder metallurgy, particulate materials and metal additive manufacturing. This event takes place alongside the major conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, San Antonio, Texas. The conference runs 17-19 June, while the exhibition is open 18-19 June. IPS Ceramics have continued the dress-down Friday "tradition" at its UK headquarters with employees donating a £1 every Friday, which is going towards a designated charity. Since we have started this tradition, IPS employees have raised just over £300 and have so far donated to the Guide dogs for the blind charity. Employees at the IPS Ceramics UK head office have recently completed a manual handling training course as part of the company's on-going Health & Safety programme. The on-line course was arranged and managed by Graydon harris, IPS H&S Co-ordinator. Graydon explained “The course gives everyone the knowledge of how to safely lift and move products and other objects at work. IPS Ceramics USA have contributed to a fantastic cause in Greater Charlotte For YMCA.
