IPS Ceramics Expands Marketing Team
Posted by Tom Evans on May 13, 2019
IPS Ceramics has added to its marketing and digital team with the appointment of Thomas Evans as a Marketing Executive.
“Already I have seen what a busy time this is for IPS Ceramics and I’m being introduced to the many dynamic projects being undertaken by the company on a daily basis,” commented Thomas. “I am delighted to have joined IPS and am very much looking forward to organising our marketing activities, including exhibitions and social media feeds. I’m looking forward to the challenges of this new role.”
Originally from Walsall, Thomas moved to the Stoke-on-Trent area nine years ago to study at Keele University. He has both a 1st Class BA in English and Media and an MA in Creative Writing, both from Keele.
Following his studies, he spent five years as the Marketing Executive for DRM Technic, primarily working on developing their brand and introducing new marketing platforms to the company. He’s also worked as a graphic designer and can claim to be a writer, having had several short stories published and a comedy sketch recorded by the BBC.
“We are very pleased to have made this important appointment and to have welcomed Thomas into the IPS family,” said Sales Director, Phil Green. “Thomas brings a number of important attributes to this role. We fully recognise the growing importance of digital platforms in our marketing efforts, at the same time as appreciating the continuing successes that we have scored as a result of well organised face-to-face opportunities such as exhibitions, conferences and special presentations. I’m sure Thomas’ contribution in all these areas will be invaluable to us as we forge ahead.”
