With lockdown in the UK beginning to ease, many local activities are starting up again. Hitting the ground running are the Red Street Condors, the local under-12s football team sponsored by IPS Ceramics.
The Red Street Condors are a local football team for children under 12 based in Chesterton, Staffordshire. Since the lockdown restrictions have been eased, the Condors have played three games, winning two (5-2 and 3-2) and drawing one (3-3). It’s not just these victories providing the team with momentum – they’ve also moved from an 8-v-8 league to an 11-v-11 league, bringing in new players and expanding their roster. Their future’s looking bright.
IPS Ceramics started sponsoring the Red Street Condors in 2019, doing so as part of our charity initiatives to support the local Staffordshire area. Our recent support has included buying new kits, both for players who have outgrown their old kits and for the new players who have just joined the team. We hope our support will help each child to reach their full potential.
Other charities and groups that we’ve supported include Alsager Animals in Need, Circus Starr, Lion International, The Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, and the National Autistic Society.
