Next month IPS Ceramics USA will participate in the exhibit section of POWDERMET 2018, the largest annual North American showcase devoted exclusively to powder metallurgy, particulate materials and metal additive manufacturing. This event takes place alongside the major conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, San Antonio, Texas. The conference runs 17-19 June, while the exhibition is open 18-19 June.
With over 100 booths, this international exhibition will present leading companies featuring the latest PM equipment, powders, products and services. IPS Ceramics USA will be promoting a number of different high performance products used in the PM industry, ranging from cordierite batts, saggars and specialty items, to alumina and silicon carbide support systems which are increasingly employed to improve sintering and heat treat processes.
“The North American market is proving to be particularly buoyant for us right now,” commented Mike Jackson, vice president, IPS Ceramics USA. “We have just come away from our most successful Ceramics Expo – held a couple of weeks ago in Cleveland – and are very much looking forward to the San Antonio conference and exhibition. Our expanding portfolio for PM and metal additive manufacturing is being well received and we expect to create a lot of interest among the many expected delegates.”
