Destination Midwest – Things heat up for IPS Ceramics USA

IPS Ceramics at FNA 2018 at Indiana Convention Center, Indiana, USA

IPS Ceramics USA has once again been confirmed as a key industry exhibitor at the Furnaces North America (FNA) Expo. This year the event moves to the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis which, after a recent $275 million expansion project, has consolidated its position as one of the largest convention centres in America. The event takes place over 8-10 October 2018.

The FNA Expo is the leading North American trade show for the heat treating industry, with a wide range of presentations that reflect the dynamism and fast-changing technologies offered to end users. Top commercial heat treaters and large captive manufacturers from over 40 US states, as well as from around 17 overseas countries, are expected to attend.

“We know from previous events that decision makers certainly beat a path to the FNA Expo,” said Mike Jackson, vice president, IPS Ceramics USA. “We’re having great success right now in the heat treat sector, particularly with our stock ranges of high performance, competitively priced technical ceramics, as well as with our ability to produce custom components. There’s great competition for space at this event and it’s a testament to our reputation that we’ve been selected as a booth holder.”

Mike will be joined on the booth by Phil Green, global sales director for IPS Ceramics and a long-time business partner to North American manufacturers. A number of lines – including newly introduced items – will be featured on the booth, and certain to attract attention are the latest offerings in silicon carbide heating elements, alumina tubes (stock and custom), ceramic tubes and specialty thermocouple tubes.

To demonstrate the shape and configuration possibilities offered by today’s technical ceramics, the team will have a silicon carbide chess set on view as well. This proved a big hit at the last US show attended by the company back in June.

IPS Ceramics USA will be on booth 112 so please do come along and see everything the company has to offer from kiln shelves to complex bespoke items. If you would like to arrange a meeting with Mike and Phil in advance, then please just drop a quick e-mail message to m.jackson@ipsceramics.com and say which day and what time would suit you.

Entrance to the FNA Expo is free of charge. Details of the charges for the welcome reception and the conference sessions are covered here: https://www.furnacesnorthamerica.com/registration
