PM Investment Continues to Pay Dividends

IPS Ceramics USA, one year down the road from incorporation in Cornelius, North Carolina, has reported that its participation in Powder Met 2017 in June was highly successful. “Over these few days in Las Vegas, I’m glad to say that our significantly expanded portfolio of technical ceramics proved to be a major draw, commented VP, Mike Jackson. “From our point of view, the attendance was excellent, with many visitors from a variety of sectors showing great interest in all the IPS products and proving themselves keen to discuss their particular applications with us.”

This international conference and expo on powder metallurgy and particulate materials is a well-established date in the North American show diary and has been running for more than 20 years. Over 200 worldwide industry experts presented the latest in PM, particulate materials and metal additive manufacturing and this year’s conference program was more robust than ever before. Overall attendances were once again up on previous events, hitting a 10-year high.

“Our offering drew plenty of interest and the powder met booth was busy right up until the last hour of the show,” said Phil Green, IPS Sales Director, who travelled over from the UK especially to be in Las Vegas with Mike Jackson. “There were over 115 exhibitors and we are delighted to have taken part. It turned out to be a great exhibition, with a very good level of feedback; the enquiries we have received are extremely promising and further consolidate the major efforts that we have been putting in with regard to this exciting market.”

High performance products from the IPS Ceramics technical ceramics range are being increasingly used in the area of powder metallurgy, including metal injection moulding and, of course, the sintering process. Enquiries from potential users are always welcome.
